Polka Dot Skirt

I bought this polka dot skirt from J. Crew about a year ago and, somehow lost it in my closet. Once I found it I immediately wanted to wear it with this jacket. 

The utility jackets from J. Crew are always more money than I want to pay. So, I was super happy when I found this one from H & M  for half of the price. 

For shoes I added my Adidas superstars!

Mood Board #6

Back at it again with another Mood Board and I couldn't be happier! I hope you enjoy!

1. FLAT LAYS - For some reason Pinterest has had so many flat lays of cute brunches and I'm obsessed! If you don't know what a flat lay is, it's basically a picture of a few items on a flat surface. The picture above is actually my own flat lay!

2. LINEN BUTTON UPS - As I talked about in this  post I found the perfect linen shirt from Old Navy and I love it so much! I also have a Gap button up in a bright green.

3. TAPESTRIES - I never thought I would be into tapestries considering, I don't really like the idea of a huge piece of fabric hanging from my ceiling. The reason I bought this tapestry was to take to the beach or the park this summer. I think it's really cute for a picnic as well!

4. TEDDY BEAR LIPSTICK - Lime Crime recently released another lipstick in  collaboration with Melanie Martinez. I'm a HUGE Melanie fan so when I found out about this lipstick and I loved the color I knew I wanted it!

5. SUMMER PHONE CASE - I saw this palm print Kate Spade phone case on Polyvore the other day and I thought it was just so fun! I love the idea of a fun printed phone case for the summer!

Mood Board #5

Happy Monday friends! I hope everyone is having a lovely Mermorial Day holiday!

Today's post is another Mood Board, these are always super fun to make I hope you enjoy!

1. KAREN WALKER SUNGLASSES - These fancy tortoise sunnies have had my attention for quite some time. However, recently I have seen so many cute looks paired with the sunglasses and I love them even more!

2. GREEN TEA - Green tea is so amazing for you because of all of the health benefits. I recently started drinking a cup everyday. Green tea is so calming but also gives you energy which is great! Another plus to green tea is the cute matcha lattes like the one above! ^

3. PEONIES - Peony season is here and, every Gossip Girl fan (myself included) wants a fresh bouquet of these pink pretties. 

4. STACKS ON STACKS - < I never actually figured out what this phrase means (do i want to?) but, it make for a great caption! Anyways.... In the summer I always love to trade in my everyday silver jewelry for colorful beads and tassels. If you want to start a stack for yourself I reccomend browsing stores like Charlotte Russe or Charming Charlie. Pinterest also has a bunch of DIY tutorials!

5. GINGHAM SHOES - J. Crew has two toned gingham heels. Need I say more? #OBSESSED

6. GOLD BUCKET BAG - J. Crew had this mini bucket bag in their latest style guide and it is just so cute! The bag comes in gingham, gold, brown, blue, and pink!

Nautical and navy.

   Hey everyone! Today's look includes a super nautical inspired outfit. I incorporated some of my favorite pieces from this summer. I paired this anchor print tunic with a red hat, white pants, and my red boat shoes from L.L. Bean Signature. Of course no nautical outfit can be completed without pearls! Rainy day style.
