After Christmas Sales 2016

Yes Christmas is over but don't be sad just yet because it's sale time! Honestly, I feel like after Christmas sales are even better than Black Friday sales. It's also super fun to buy a few things with any gift cards I received on Christmas.

I rounded up a list of sales at my favorites stores and websites.

ANTHROPOLOGIE - Anthropologie is a pretty expensive place but today you can snag some super cute (and good smelling) stuff at 40% off!

FOREVER 21 - I always find the best deals at F21's after Christmas sale maybe you can too! Today they have 30% off of all sale items.

L.L BEAN - L.L Bean has up to 50% off today, which is a really good deal for some high quality items. The sale includes this really nice jacket with plaid interior!

MADEWELL - Madewell has 30% off of all sale items today!

NORDSTROM - I'm a huge fan of Nordstrom sales and their half yearly sale is especially great (ends January 2nd).

ED BY ELLEN - If you read this blog you know that I am OBSESSED with ED by Ellen, and today they have 60% off on their website!!! The sale also includes the "Love" sweater pictured above!

OLD NAVY - Old Navy has never let me down and today their website is up to 60% off! My favorite jeans are also on sale today for only $24.99!

Happy Shopping!!

Fall Shoe Picks 2016

Happy Monday beautiful people! Today's post is all about shoes, shoes, and more shoes! That's right today I am sharing five of my favorite pairs of shoes for the fall!

1. CLARKS SUEDE BOOTIES - I always thought Clarks boots were kind of only for the boys. But some of the best things in women's fashion these days are borrowed from the boys! These booties are so simple and would look lovely with just jeans and a v-neck tee. My mom recently purchased these in orange and they are so adorable!

2. PATCHWORK BOOTS - I didn't know how I felt about these boots when I first saw them. I guess I thought they were a little to 70s for me. That was until I tried them on. One day at DSW I thought, "Hey, I guess I'll try these on". The minute I tried the boots on I saw how chic and fun they were! I feel like the patchwork would look great with some light wash distressed denim and cute blouse!

3. ED BY ELLEN OXFORDS - My love for ED by Ellen has been expressed a ton here on the blog;  of course I had to include a pair of ED's shoes in this post! I love the platform and wool fabric of these oxfords. I actually plan on purchasing these soon!

4. J. CREW OXFORDS - J. Crew had a bunch of simply chic loafers in their latest catalogue. These cranbery red loaferd really caught my eye. I think these shoes would be so lovely for the holidays of with a red lip and a little sparkle.

5. BROWN SUEDE BOOTS - I was in search of a new pair of fall boots that were good quality, not too exspensive, and very "me". DSW had the perfect pair for me! I couldn't find the link to the exact pair but I know for a fact they have them in stores.
These boots are super comfy and they have just the right amount of heel.

Thank you so much for reading! I had so much fun making this post, I hope you all enjoyed!

Halloween "Costume" 2016

Happy Halloween friends!

I found this shirt at Target last year and thought it was so funny! Especially because I will be at home watching The Voice instead of trick-or-treating.

Along with the shirt I added distressed denim and my ED by Ellen flats. For accessories I'm wearing my fedora and a fall lip color.

So yeah "this is my costume"
I hope you all have a fabulous Halloween!

ED by Ellen Langston Flats Review

When I saw that Ellen DeGeneres had a lifestyle brand coming out I got so excited. Then, I saw these shoes and I got even more excited.

I finally decided to purchase these shoes in August for back to school. And, I am so happy I did. These are the most comfortable pair of shoes I own. Honestly, I would wear them everyday if my mom allowed me.

These shoes are the Langston flats from ED by Ellen. They are made of real leather, have a hidden platform, and come in a bunch of colors. I love the "Love" script on top of the shoes; but there are also other words such a "Joy" or "Laugh" you can get on top.

I get compliments on these shoes everytime I leave the house in them. I think it's probably because they are so different compared to a plain pair of flats.

When it comes to rain these shoes are pretty tough. I mean I'm not saying go puddle jumping in them but, if it starts raining they should be pretty ok! One thing I don't like about these shoes is the leather scuffs on the backs. So, if you drive in these shoes just expect that to happen.

It's super easy to dress the Langston flats up or down. Some days I wear them with jeans and a button up shirt. Other days i wear them with a dress or blazer.

I am seriously considering purchasing another pair of these Langston flats and I highly recommend you do the same!

Mood Board #4

collage made with polyvore

Long time no mood board.

I honestly have no clue why I don't do these more often they are a blast to make!

1. OFF THE SHOULDER - My Pinterest feed has been filled to the top with these super chic off the shoulder tops. I went to the store to pick one up the other day and they were all gone! If you like what you see jump on it quick, before someone else does!

2. SMILE IT'S ELLEN - Ellen DeGegeneres' ED by Ellen line is one of my favorites. I was so excited when ED came out with these super cool ballet flats. All of the flats have a word of encouragement on them however, the "smile" pair really caught my eye.

3. AU NATURALE - Despite this being the era of contouring, makeup has become more and more natural. Simpicity in makeup can really make features pop much more than covering the whole face. It's a very refreshing look.

4. STRAW HAT - These hats just scream vacay am I right?! A simple straw hat is a great addition to a fun spring or summer outfit. I also reccommend a straw hat for all of the capsle wardrobe ladies out there.

5. TOTE THE TASSELS - Rebecca Minkoff has really stepped up their game when it comes to their handbags. This particular clutch has been on my radar for a while. As a color lover this clutch offers just enough color to an outfit, without it being "too much".

6. STATEMENT EARRINGS - I've never really been big on large earrings. However, recently I fell in love with statement earrings. Statment earrings are a great addition to a plain outfit and they can be very affordable!

Thank you so much for reading!
