Reviewing High-End Skincare Products

I got a Birchbox subscription for Christmas a couple of years ago and throughout this timespan I have been collecting a ton of high-end skincare products. I am always a little hesitant when it comes to high-end skincare products because there is no guarantee that they will be worth your money.

No need to worry I have got you covered! Today I will be honestly giving my honest review on 9 high-end skincare products ranging in price from $22-$158.

CAUDALIE CREME SORBET $30 - This is one product that is definitely worth the price! After using this moisturizer for just a few days I saw such a difference in my skin, a bunch of other people noticed as well. This is a product I plan to purchase for sure! 10/10

LIZ EARLE HOT CLOTH CLEANSER $25 - The first time I tried this product was one night when I had run out of makeup remover wipes. The first thing I noticed was that it smells really bad but, I continued to use it. Once it was on my face I noticed that it really did nothing any different than a regular cleanser. I did not really remove my face makeup (which is very minimal) or my eye makeup at all. This is not a product that I recommend purchasing which is sad because I was really looking forward to liking it. 3/10

ORGANIC PHARMACY SEAWEED MASK $70 - This mask is extremely expensive but, if you are willing to shell out $70 for it you won't be disappointed. This is one of those masks that allows you to see the pores on your skin that are most prone to clogging. After the first use you will most likely see improvement in your skin. This is one of my favorite masks I have ever used. 10/10

REAL CHEMISTRY FACE PEEL $48 - I was a little hesitant to use this product at first; I thought it was going to be like one of those painful peels that people get from the spa. After a little research I found out it was more of a chemical exfoliant. The first time I used this peel was in the winter when my face had a lot of dry skin. I immediately felt the dead skin coming off of my face and forming into little clusters that could be washed off in the shower. I really love this product and I definitely think it is worth the price however, I don't know if I would purchase it. After winter the peel did barely anything because my skin was hydrated. This is definitely a product that would work great if you have dry skin. 9/10

SUNDAY RILEY LACTIC ACID TREATMENT $158- I never really knew what the heck to do with this product until I started watching a ton of Korean skincare routines. I don't really think this product is worth the price at all because I really don't know what it does for me. I have been using it for a while and it's just...ehh. It also smells bad if you were wondering. 5/10

SUPERGOOP EYE CREAM $32 - Eye cream is another thing I started using because of YouTube videos. However, I have seen a slight difference in the dark circles under my eyes. This eye cream has a blu-ish iridescent finish to it most likely because of the high SPF it contains. Due to the blue finish this is not my favorite thing to use under makeup but it works just fine at night. 8/10

I hope you all enjoyed this different type of post, I hope to do more skincare posts in the future!
