Chambray & Linen

Georgia summers are crazy hot and humid (seriously like 103 degree temps!). All I want to wear on these super hot days are light and breathable materials. During the hot summers chambray and linen are difintely friends of mine!

I swapped my go to denim button up for this much lighter one in a chambray material. A chambray shirt is the easiest thing to pair with an outfit; I recommend every girl has one.

These linen shorts from Old Navy are light, flowy, and comfortable. They are also very inexpensive and come it lots of colors!

For accessories I kept things pretty simple and just wore this hat to complete the summer look!

Chambray and city walks.

Hello there! Happy weekend! 

My go to "I don't have anything to wear!" look is always denim on denim. So I decided to throw this on for a nice morning downtown with my mom. My dog Coty also decided to join us, even though she hates the camera! 

For a more comfy look I added my black Old Navy slip ons.

Denim on denim

   I am all about anything DIY when it comes to fashion. Today I am super excited to share with you these patchwork jeans I made. I took some super cool Gap jeans and just sewed some patches on. When I posted a picture with them on Instagram you all really seemed to like them so let me know if you would like a tutorial.

My patchwork jeans were paired with a chambray button up shirt also from Gap. My shoes are grey oxfords from Rack Room Shoes. I also added my a black bag and my fancy glasses both from Urban Outfitters.
